About Me
My name is Jimmy Laux and I have been addicted to fishing for as long as I can remember. Some of my fondest memories are of spending quality fishing time with family and friends. I love catching Catfish and Hybrid Bass. Lake Conroe holds very good numbers of both species of fish. All Tackle and Bait are provided by me, so if you are visiting Lake Conroe or the Houston area, come on down and catch some fish!
Guide Service - Jimmy's Gone Fishing Guide Service is my opportunity to share my passion of fishing and the outdoors. When you book a day or night on the lake with me, we will discuss what is most important to you.
Mission - My mission is to make your day a memorable one. I only book 1 charter a day to ensure that the focus is on your day and not rushing back to the dock to pick up another group.
Types of Tours - can be split up between fishing and enjoying a tour of the lake or swimming at some of the boat access only beaches.
Specialty - I guide for primarily Catfish and some Hybrid Striped Bass.
Boat & Equipment - I guide out of a 24ft 2024 Ranger Tri-Toon. The boat is equipped with a 150 HP Motor, fishing seats, Live well for Bait, excellent sound system.
